Colleen Hill International School is a co-educational day school in Obinomba, Delta State, offering a complete academic ladder from Early Years to Senior Secondary.
Our history and overview
Colleen Hill International School was founded out of a simple conviction: that children in Obinomba and the surrounding communities deserve an education that is as sound in character as it is in academics. What began with a handful of pupils in the Early Years has grown into a full school, with Kindergarten, Primary, Junior Secondary and Senior Secondary sections on one secured campus behind Abaja Estate, off Umukwata Road.
We teach the approved Nigerian curriculum — the Universal Basic Education programme through Primary and Junior Secondary, and the Senior Secondary curriculum in Science, Arts and Commercial streams. Our pupils sit the Basic Education Certificate Examination at the end of JSS 3, and our senior students are prepared thoroughly for WAEC, NECO and the JAMB UTME.
Alongside the classroom, we invest in the whole child. Our computer laboratory gives every pupil hands-on ICT experience, our science laboratories support real practical work, and inter-house sports, cultural day, debates and clubs give our students confidence in public. Moral instruction and godly values run through everything we do, because we believe knowledge without character is incomplete.

Pst. Mrs Jemute Nwakaego Onyenwenu leads Colleen Hill International School as Executive Director and Head of School. A teacher and pastor by calling, she oversees the academic direction of all four sections, the welfare of staff and students, and the school's relationship with parents and the wider Obinomba community.
